Basically, all Crassula varieties are succulents with the main stern and leaves around it. Therefore, if you see a plant with thick green leaves on a stern, most probably it is a Crassula succulent.

Here is my top favorite succulent: Snake Plant from Sansevieria family. The reason I like it so much is that it come in different shapes and sizes. Therefore you can decorate your space no matter it is a desk or a hallway, with just one family of succulents.

Agave family is another prominent family of mostly outdoors succulents that can grow into a big plant up to 4 feet. The plants look like huge flowers with very thick leaves and spikes.
